Research Findings
- dynamic interaction between our gut, brain, and immune system
- autism, and other neurological, psychological, and autoimmune disorders are heavily influenced by our gut health
- the gut flora a child acquires during vaginal birth is dependent on the mother’s→ future mothers should address their gut health prior to, and during pregnancy
Gut and Psychology Syndrome (GAPS)
- can present itself psychologically and/or physiologically
- may manifest as many symptoms and fit several diagnoses: autism, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), attention deficit disorder (ADD), dyslexia, dyspraxia, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and many others
- common outgrowths: digestive issues, asthma, allergies, skin problems, and autoimmune disorders
- findings: children born with severely damaged gut flora are at a much higher risk of vaccine damage⇒ some children develop symptoms of autism after one or more vaccinations while others do not
